Welcome to Gotham Writers' Workshop. Teaching more than 6,000 students a year, Gotham is the leading creative writing school in NYC and the United States.New workshops begin frequently Online and in New York City. There is nothing better than a Gotham workshop to help you take your writing to the next level. This summer our professional writers are offering more than 150 different workshops covering more than a dozen forms of writing at levels from basic to advanced. Select from among the dozens of online workshops that begin in June, and July. Workshops in NYC begin in July. The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has certified Gotham as an Authorized Provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs). We can now offer IACET approved CEUs to students who successfully complete ten-week and some six-week classes either in NYC or via the Internet.

How To Sell Your Screenplay - With David Title With Hollywood insider David Title as your guide, learn the most effective strategies for selling your screenplay in a comprehensive four-week seminar. David is the head of development at Crossroads, a production company devoted to feature films, TV, and music videos. These four-week online seminars begin July 16. Space is limited. ![]() Dear Gotham, Teen Ink, a national literary magazine, has partnered with Gotham to present six-week online creative writing courses created exclusively for teens, 13 to 19 years old. These classes are all about helping younger writers discover and develop their unique voices. There are no grades, no exams, and no wrong answers.Students will explore a variety of fiction's forms, including memoir, personal essay, and article writing. Every week, they will engage in conversations about writing craft, partake in writing jam sessions, and have the chance to get feedback on their work. Plus, students will have the opportunity to submit work for review by a Teen Ink editor for possible publication in the national magazine and web site.
